Amazon Return & Exchange Service Description

According to Amazon's return and exchange policy, the return window is extended during peak seasons, lasting up to 4 months. Following major shopping events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, sellers often face massive return volumes. Due to Amazon's platform policies, buyers can return items within 90 days of receipt. This leads to situations where buyers return products after extended use, sometimes even leaving negative reviews alongside returns. Unsellable inventory is often marked as "Buyer Damaged," with no compensation from Amazon. As long as the buyer initiates a return, Amazon issues a full refund, leaving sellers to bear the loss for unsellable items.

Conditions and Requirements for Amazon Return Imports

1. The goods must meet the requirements for secondary sales and be returned to the original place of supervision in their original condition within 30 days from the date of customs release.

2. The return enterprise must apply for the return within 30 days from the date of release of the "China Customs Cross-border E-commerce Retail Import Declaration List" (hereinafter referred to as the "Declaration List"). Furthermore, the returned goods must arrive at the original customs supervision premises, the original special customs supervision area, or the Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) within 45 days from the date of release of the "Declaration List."

3. Enterprises must submit return applications to Customs through the China International Trade Single Window (website: https://www.singlewindow.cn/) or relevant cross-border e-commerce customs clearance service platforms.

4. Enterprises must transport the declared return goods to the original place of supervision.

5. On-site Customs confirms the arrival of the returned goods and conducts inspection and release according to relevant requirements. Upon completion of inspection and release, taxes corresponding to the returned goods will not be levied.
