Recently, according to Sensor Tower's latest report "E-commerce Apps and Brand Market Insights for the 2025 Shopping Season", Alibaba's cross-border e-commerce platform AliExpress saw a 181% month-on-month surge in app downloads in the Japanese market, making it the fastest-growing e-commerce app in Japan in 2025. Since launching its local recruitment program in August this year, the platform has attracted Chinese brands such as UWANT and ILIFE, as well as Japanese local brand CICIBELLA, with zero-cost, zero-annual-fee, and zero-deposit entry policies. It has also optimized logistics services to achieve the fastest 3-day delivery for local products.

Amazon announced that it will expand its low-price store Haul to 14 new markets and launch an independent app "Amazon Bazaar". The app provides a dedicated shopping experience focused on affordable products to more countries and regions, mainly covering fashion, home goods, and daily necessities, aiming to promote Haul's low-price, high-frequency shopping model to a wider user base.
Amazon stated that Amazon Bazaar is an independent app launched based on the existing global Amazon Haul experience. The first batch covers 14 destinations: Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Nigeria, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman, with plans to continue expanding in the future.

Yesterday, the 8th CIIE came to a successful conclusion. The turnover of this edition was active, with intended turnover reaching 83.49 billion on a one-year basis, up 4.4% from the previous edition, setting a historical high. As of 12:00 on November 10, the cumulative attendance of this CIIE reached 922,000, a year-on-year increase of 8.2%, also setting a historical high.
This CIIE organized 43 trading groups and over 700 sub-trading groups, with registered visitors exceeding 460,000, a year-on-year increase of 7%. This year, for the first time, about 50,000 social visitors were organized to attend the expo on-site, getting close to "CIIE goodies" and experiencing the "CIIE charm".
Zhu Min, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Director of the Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Director of the Urban Service Guarantee Leading Group Office, introduced at a press briefing that during this CIIE, the Shanghai Trading Group organized 124,000 buyers from over 18,000 enterprises. On a one-year basis, the intended transaction amount of the Shanghai Trading Group reached $10.62 billion, up 5.14% year-on-year, ranking first among local trading groups for eight consecutive years. Among them, the intended transaction amount from Belt and Road Initiative partner countries increased by 34% year-on-year.
