TikTok Shop Launches "One Business Sells Globally" Project
Recently, TikTok Shop has launched the "One Business Sells Globally" project for cross-border self-operated (POP) merchants. Through a cross-regional workbench, merchants can achieve five core functions: global multi-store binding, rapid interconnection for store opening, unified global data viewing, cross-border sales and review interconnection, and customer message aggregation. Since the beginning of this year, TikTok Shop has been launched in more countries and markets around the world, and the multi-store, multi-market layout has become the choice of more merchants. The "One Business Sells Globally" project will help merchants move from single-store operation to global layout, coordinating multiple stores worldwide in a one-stop manner.
Shein's first store in Paris is thriving despite the downturn
It is reported that the first physical store of Chinese fast fashion brand Shein opened in the heart of Paris has become a new hot spot for local residents' Christmas shopping. 11Street receives additional investment of KRW 60 billion from SK Planet
Recently, South Korean e-commerce platform 11Street received an additional investment of KRW 60 billion from its parent company, SK Planet. This marks the first time in seven years since its separation from SK Planet in 2018 that 11Street has once again become a subsidiary of SK Planet. SK Planet implemented this capital increase after acquiring stakes from SK Square and Nile Holdings, bringing its cumulative investment in 11Street to KRW 534.6 billion. Both parties plan to enhance synergies within the group, with a focus on integrating SK Planet's points and membership platform, OK Cashback, to boost platform competitiveness through the membership system and points ecosystem.
Coupang Launches a User Compensation Plan of Approximately 1.69 Trillion Korean Won
Recently, in response to the recent personal information leakage incident, South Korean e-commerce platform Coupang announced a customer compensation plan, which will provide compensation totaling 1.685 trillion Korean won to relevant users. The plan aims to address external concerns and restore user trust. According to information disclosed by Coupang, the compensation targets 33.7 million accounts that received personal information leakage notifications by the end of November this year. The scope of compensation covers current Wow members, regular members, and users of cancelled accounts. All eligible accounts will receive the same compensation, regardless of membership level or usage status. The compensation will be issued in the form of "purchase vouchers" and will be distributed in batches starting from January 15, 2026. Coupang plans to notify users of the usage method through text messages to the 33.7 million account holders, who can view and use the relevant benefits within the Coupang application.
Wildberries launches online authentication service
Recently, Wildberries launched the "WB Сертификация" service, in collaboration with certification bodies ГОСТЕСТ and СОЭКС. Sellers can now obtain compliance certificates and declarations online through their personal cabinet, addressing the pain points of difficulty and time-consuming process in finding certification bodies. The service is initially available to sellers in Moscow and surrounding regions. Currently, the service supports online application and process tracking, with the option to send samples for certification via express delivery to be launched in the future.
